Happy Birthday-Birth Control!

It's been 40 years to the day since the Supreme Court first ruled that states could not bar doctors from providing contraception counseling and supplies to married couples. In Griswold v. Connecticut, the Court first recognized the right of privacy that was later extended to all people in matters of reproductive health.

Can you believe that it was only 40 years ago that birth control was illegal? Can you believe this landmark decision still limited birth control to married couples? Can you belive that there are cases popping up all over the country where pharmacists refuse to give birth control because of moral objections?

Celebrate the birthday of birth control by having some safe yet nonprocreative sex today. And remember, the only 100% effective form of birth control........homosexuality.
